The male Maine Coon cat is larger than the female and they also tend to have a stronger personality. Maine Coon males grow between 10-16 inches tall, and up to 40 inches long. Males need more space because they can be a few pounds heavier and all around larger than the female. They are more demanding, social and they need tons of stimulation and plenty of play time. So before making a decision on adopting a male or female, consider how much available time you have to commit to your Maine Coon kitten.
All of our male cats are tested for carrying genetic diseases transmitted by inheritance.
