Why are Maine Coon kittens more expensive?Polydactyl Maine Coons are often more expensive than non-polydactyl Maine Coons because polydactylism is a genetic anomaly that is relatively rare and unique to this breed. As a result, polydactyl Maine Coons are often considered to be a novelty and are in high demand among cat enthusiasts, which drives up their price. It's also worth noting that polydactyl Maine Coons are often larger than their non-polydactyl counterparts, which can make them more impressive and desirable to some people. Regenerate response

Why are Maine Coon kittens so expensive ?Breeders do so many things that might not seem obvious when they put a kitten up for sale. Like everything in life, because the Maine Coon is the most popular cat breed in the world, the price reflects supply and demand, as well as the cost of raising a healthy kitten. Vets' visits, high quality food, vaccinations, paperwork, parents care, litter, toys, cleaning supplies, TICA registration, investing in new Maine Coons for the program, taxes and three months of kitten care will increase the cost of producing a healthy Maine Coon kitten. Lastly, for our time invested into every kitten, our adult cats, running our website and social pages, and our time put into every applicant and client. A reputable breeder knows the value of their program and kittens, and so do their clients.

How many Maine Coon kittens do you have per year?Sweet Giants is a small cattery, and we only have 20-40 kittens per year, so we understand if you are not willing to wait. The most important thing is to find the Maine Coon of your dream.

Why are White Maine coon kittens more expensive?Due to the rarity of pure white Maine Coons resulting from the difficulty in breeding them, and the fact that they account for only about 5% of the total cat population, they are more expensive. As such, it can be challenging to find a Maine Coon with this rare color. They are even more rare with blue eyes! It took us two years to find our stud Ustin.
